With the knowledge I learned over time in part of academic research, my peers, and a big part to my mentor, I see the Gaosali as my personal symbol, one of hope and resiliency. A flower that can thrive in stone rather than soil, conditions that most flower types are unable to live. The Gaosali flower is poetic in itself, no matter how bleak or how hard things get, even the greatest of pressures and burdens can produce resilient beauty.
